Day 3 in Osaka: Kimono Experience and Food Adventure

My third morning in Osaka started with a delightful bowl of oyakodon from a local eatery. The tender chicken and sweet egg over rice made for a hearty breakfast, giving me the perfect energy boost to kick off my day.

With my belly full, I headed to the Umeda Hankyu Department Store. To my delight, there was a chocolate festival in full swing! I indulged in various chocolate samples, each more delicious than the last. For any chocolate lover, this place is a must-visit.

After savoring chocolates, I treated myself to a soft serve ice cream from Unir, a nearby cafe. The rich, creamy ice cream melted in my mouth, offering a refreshing break from the summer heat.

Next, I visited Umeda Animate, a haven for anime enthusiasts. The wide array of character merchandise was a feast for the eyes. I spent hours browsing through my favorite anime goods, feeling like a kid in a candy store.

I then headed to 'Kimono Rental Wargo Osaka Shinsaibashi', where I rented a beautiful kimono for about 3000 yen. Wearing the vibrant kimono while exploring Osaka Castle made me feel like I had traveled back in time. It was an extraordinary experience, and I took plenty of memorable photos.

After returning the kimono, I made my way to Kinryu Ramen for dinner. The rich broth and chewy noodles of the ramen were absolutely delectable. The deep flavor of the soup left a lasting impression, making it one of the best meals I've had.

With my Osaka adventure complete, I traveled to Kyoto. I encountered a ticket issue on the subway, but a kind station staff member assisted me with exceptional hospitality. Their kindness truly touched my heart.

Upon arriving in Kyoto, I checked into the Garden Palace Hotel. I met my roommate for the 3-week language program, and we hit it off right away. We ended the night by grabbing some tasty snacks from a convenience store, setting the stage for a fun and exciting stay in Kyoto.

My third day in Osaka was filled with delicious food, unique experiences, and warm encounters. I can't wait to see what new adventures await me in Kyoto!
