Japan Travel Diary: Day 2, A Day of Osaka Adventure

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you a delightful day I spent in Osaka. From morning to evening, it was a day packed with fun and excitement. Let’s dive right in!

I woke up early and headed to 'Sukiya' to kickstart my day with a hearty breakfast. I ordered natto, rice, eggs, bacon, and miso soup. It was my first time trying natto, and though it was a bit unusual, I enjoyed its healthy taste. This robust breakfast gave me the energy I needed to tackle the day.

After breakfast, I made my way to Kuromon Market, a paradise for food lovers. The enticing aroma of various street foods filled the air, and I couldn't resist trying several dishes. Among them, the grilled chicken skewers were particularly delicious. Fresh ingredients and a sweet-savory glaze made them melt in my mouth.

With a full stomach, I headed to Namco Osaka Nipponbashi for some claw machine fun. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to win any plush toys, but the experience itself was a blast. Just seeing all the adorable characters lined up was a treat for the eyes.

Next, I visited the Ghibli shop, 'Donguri Republic.' I took photos with No-Face and other beloved characters. I also bought a small Totoro figurine. This shop, filled with charming Ghibli items, felt like a little piece of heaven.

After exploring so many places, we needed a break, so we stopped by '27cafe by MARIONCREPES' for some crepes. A single bite of the sweet crepe, with its fresh fruits and creamy filling, rejuvenated us instantly. It was incredibly delicious!

We returned to the hotel for a short rest before heading out again to meet my dad, who had finished work. We went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. There were so many tourists! I was surprised when some of them asked me questions in their languages. The funniest moment was when my dad mistakenly dipped his sushi in green tea powder, thinking it was wasabi.

After dinner, we decided to walk off the meal and found a second-hand figure and book shop nearby. My sibling, who loves [Detective Conan], was thrilled to browse the Conan figurines. The shop, filled with various figures and books, brought back fond memories of our childhood.

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped by a drugstore and picked up a bath bomb. When I used it during my bath, a cute little figurine popped out! It was a small joy that perfectly ended my adventurous day.

And that’s how my second day in Osaka ended. It was a day full of exploration and delightful experiences. I can’t wait to share more exciting travel stories with you all soon. Thank you for reading!
